Project Details

Extending more than two city blocks, the Transbay Terminal represents the single largest use of high-end architectural metals in the Bay Area. This project required the installation of more than 40,000 square feet of orange-painted 1/8-inch panels fabricated by Architectural Systems, Inc. of Missouri.

THE Façade

In addition, Pacific Erectors installed 160,000 square feet of façade material sourced from Centria, Pacific Erectors, Keith Panel Systems, Architectural Systems, and Green Screen. Lastly, all elevators in the structure were clad in heavy-gauge stainless steel, using the A316 panel manufactured by Keith Panel Systems.
